Pascale Wazen

Pascale Wazen, Head of FactSet Middle East & Africa said when asked about her experience as a REACH mentor: “I got involved in many activities helping women, but I found that Reach worked best for me. The structure around the program makes the women I mentor so serious and motivated about achieving real results. It makes them think about what they really want out of the program. I got lucky to mentor two very inspiring and enthusiastic women. What really made me happy is how much I learned from them too. Both were in a sector I didn’t know about, I learned about their work/aspiration but also what they want out of life. It’s really rewarding to see how we can help by being there, listening and coaching them. It’s nice to feel like giving back and the program makes you realize that you can help even If as a women you always think what will I bring to them 😉 The program also encouraged me to get involved in my company’s women business resource group as A co-chair for Europe Middle East and Africa .Thank you for letting me part of the program.” (Visited 26 times, 1 visits today)

REACH is my happy place. The beauty of working towards a noble cause is whatever energy, time and effort you put in, it returns it ten folds. There are no words to describe the satisfaction that one’s get from witnessing the success stories unfold one after the other, especially if they are women related, and you are one and can relate. REACH has been a fulfilling journey of giving to the younger professional generation that is keen to accelerate their career. Time is the most precious scarce asset of our time, Reach’s platform enables highly experienced mentors to give their time to mentees to support them throughout their journeys and allowing them to witness outstanding impact. REACH has built a strong community over the past 8 years that we are all so proud of! I personally enjoyed mentoring as I benefited so much from it earlier on in my career. Treasury FX Dealer in Gulf International Bank-KSA I was nominated to join the program as a mentee on November 2019, to be honest, at that time, I had some doubts about the added value of this program for me on my professional level. From the first orientation session with top amazing women (members and organizers) I felt like belonging to this program and I hoped to be an active member and be able to enjoy the advantage of such huge program that focuses on individuals’ needs and path. During my journey with Reach programme, I had the pleasure to be monitored by Dr. Ali Al-Moulani , Head of Treasury in National Bank of Bahrain. During our virtual sessions, so many advices were discussed on different fields to improve my professional path. Besides the enriching discussions, financially and economical updates specifically for KSA and Bahrain. The program was perfect on all levels as organization, timing, courses and follow-ups. We overcame all challenges during Covid-19 situation and we haven’t stopped or neglect the value of the continuous communication. I really appreciate every minute was spent on this great creation and implementation as a motivation for all female future leaders. (Visited 22 times, 1 visits today)

Transformation Expert and Executive Coach What an amazing experience to be a REACH mentor! The platform provided an optimum environment for a fulfilling mentor-mentee relationship; with facilitating structure, on-going training events and proactive support from the program managers. As a result, I could wholeheartedly focus on developing a collaborative partnership with my mentee to facilitate her thinking and learning. We were able to design our own journey – when, where & how – and creatively discover the areas of development on which to focus. Over the course of 12 months we covered many practical leadership development topics such as moving from high performance to people leadership, developing a leadership brand and how to have greater impact on your sphere of influence. I very much look forward to continuing my support of the REACH Mentoring Program. (Visited 28 times, 1 visits today)

My Journey as a Reach Mentor exceeded my expectations in the sense that I was just so positively impacted by this experience. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to help a promising young woman fulfill her potential and advance into the next phase of her career. She has now applied for and received a hefty promotion and pay raise in an international firm. Furthermore, the Reach method of matching is outstanding, and the Mentor/Mentee selection was optimal. I was able to witness the positive impact made on my Mentee, and for that I will always be most thankful. With my warmest regards (Visited 61 times, 1 visits today)

Amina Limbada – Mentee

Mentorship is an untouched concept in the region and professional mentorship is even more so. So when I came across Reach, an organisation which sought to provide mentorship to women, I jumped at the chance. While I was aware that mentorship would be greatly beneficial in many aspects, I did not realise its impact until I underwent the program with my mentor, Racha Alkhwaja. Racha’s mentorship and guidance have been exemplary to my growth and development both in terms of my career and as an individual. From being a source of support on my worst days to making me believe in myself even more on my best days, Racha’s mentorship has helped me aptly navigate the otherwise confusing corporate world. I would highly recommend mentorship to anyone, no matter what stage of life or career they are at, as this expert perspective is impactful in its own right. (Visited 35 times, 1 visits today)

Rana Nawas – Mentor

I enjoyed being a mentor on the Reach platform. They clarified expectations of both mentors and mentees, provided the brief training requiring, used a structure that was easy to follow, and were focused on getting all involved the experience they wanted. (Visited 29 times, 1 visits today)

Dr. Nasreen Al Qaseer – Mentor

As a mentor, I enjoyed my work with the mentee assigned form from Saudi Arabia and she was handling middle management leadership and a critical area in the Bank. For me it was a big challenge to challenge myself first before the mentee so I trust and believe in my capabilities as a mentor and revert back on the topics in each meeting. Maybe I can even say that I had a smart mentee who captured the information fast and reached to her directions on how to plan her next road plat form, the beautiful part was we both were exchanging different experiences on different levels of knowledge and leadership which lead to the target defined by each party. Congratulation to reach in forming such level of concepts and plan to raise knowledge and experience and build up powerful leaders.Thank you for having trust me to be part of the mentors who can add value to the program. Best of Luck. (Visited 24 times, 1 visits today)
